Location & How to Get There
Located just 2 minutes from the South Exit of Tabata Station, this hotel is perfect for exploring Tokyo. Be sure to use the South Exit, as the North Exit requires a longer walk and detour through an overpass.
The area feels safe even at night, and there’s a convenience store nearby for last-minute snacks or drinks.

Fun fact for anime fans:
the South Exit of Tabata Station appears in Makoto Shinkai’s film Weathering with You. If you’re into Japanese animation, walking through this neighborhood might feel familiar and cinematic.
Check-in Experience
Staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. Multilingual support was available, which makes it easier for international travelers. I was offered a free welcome drink and there was an amenity bar with face masks, lotion, and more.

The room key activated the elevator, adding a layer of security. Check-in was smooth and took less than 5 minutes.
The Room – Request Train View
The single room was compact but well-organized, with under-bed storage and a large TV that supported Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. The bed was soft, and blackout curtains ensured good sleep.

Some rooms offer a stunning train view, but not all of them face the tracks. Be sure to request a “train view” room when booking if this is something you’re looking forward to — it makes all the difference.
However, please note that rooms facing the tracks can be noisy, especially when bullet trains pass by. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs — or consider a room on the quieter side.
Pajamas were two-piece and comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and individually controlled.

Rooftop View – Skytree & Trains
The rooftop terrace is this hotel’s hidden gem. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic night view of Tokyo with the Skytree glowing in the distance and bullet trains speeding by beneath you. It’s a peaceful yet cinematic experience that you won’t find at typical business hotels.

What makes it truly special is how the lights of the city blend with the quiet rumble of passing trains — a view that’s both urban and serene. Whether you’re a photographer, a railway fan, or simply in need of a reflective moment, this rooftop is worth the stay alone.

Public Bath (Onsen-style)
The hotel offers a small indoor radium bath that can be used via reservation. It’s booked at check-in in 30-minute slots, with up to 2 people allowed per session. At first, I was worried that 30 minutes might feel rushed, but it turned out to be just enough time to relax without feeling pressured.
Rather than waiting in line or sharing the space with strangers, you get a more private experience — and for some travelers, that’s a big plus. The bath itself was clean, hot, and ideal after a long day.

There’s also a coin laundry and a small gym next to the bathing area.
Breakfast
I didn’t have breakfast during this stay, so I can’t speak from personal experience — but according to guest reviews, the hotel offers a light buffet with salad, rice, bread, and a few drink options. It’s available with some plans for an additional fee, usually between ¥500 and ¥1,000.
It seems to be a simple but convenient option, especially if you’re heading out early or prefer to eat something quickly before catching a train.

Honest Impressions (Pros & Cons)
What I loved: rooftop views with trains and Skytree, safe area, comfortable pajamas, multilingual staff, streaming-enabled TV.
Downsides: room is small, bath requires reservation, breakfast variety is limited.
